Mallika Sherawat was born on 24 October 1976 to Mukesh Kumar Lamba and Santosh Sherawat in the family of Seth Chhaju Ram, a leading Jat philanthropist in Hisar district of Haryana. Biography:

Before incoming to films, she has done commercials with Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan. On 14 August 2009, Sherawat received a career appreciation Honorary residency of Los Angeles for her career achievements and altruistic efforts.

Mallika Sherawat has started her career with modelling and then entered into bollywood debut with the movie “Jeena Sirf Merre Liye”. But she came into fame with the films “Khwahish” and “Murder”. She received a nomination for Best Actress at the Zee Cine Awards for her performance in “Murder”. Correspondingly, she was also seen in the movie “The Myth”, which was her first International film. She has appeared in Nirmal Pandey's “Maar Dala” and Surjit Bindrakhia's “Lak Tunoo” music video song.
