of Seth Chhaju Ram, a leading Jat philanthropist in <b>Hisar district</b> of Haryana. She
has one brother named Vikram Lamba. She has done her primary education at Delhi Public
  School, Mathura
  Road. She has attained a degree in Philosophy from
Miranda House, Delhi
 University. She has came
through many hurdles in order to chase her career in <b>film industry</b>.</div>

August 2009, Sherawat received a career appreciation Honorary residency of Los Angeles for her
career achievements and altruistic efforts.</div>

Mallika Sherawat has started her career with modelling and
then entered into bollywood debut with the movie <b>“Jeena Sirf Merre Liye”</b>. But
she came into fame with the films <b>“Khwahish”</b> and <b>“Murder”</b>. She received a
nomination for Best Actress at the Zee Cine Awards for her performance in “Murder”.
Correspondingly, she was also seen in the movie <b>“The Myth”</b>, which was her first
International film. She has appeared in Nirmal Pandey's <b>“Maar Dala”</b> and Surjit
Bindrakhia's <b>“Lak Tunoo”</b> music video song.</div>
