Jacqueline Fernandez is an Indian film actress and former model who has established herself as a talented actress in Indian films. She made her Bollywood acting debut with Sujoy Ghosh's “Aladin”, for which she had won an International Indian Film Academy Award for Best Female Debut. The actress was seen opposed Salman Khan in the movie "Kick". She was seen in a double role in Roy movie.

Jacqueline was born on August 11, 1985 in Bahrain. She was brought up in Sri Lanka and studied at The Sacred Heart School. She has three siblings, two brothers and a sister. Jacqueline started to host TV shows at the age of 14. She finished her graduation in Mass Communications from Australia and after returning back to Sri Lanka, became a political reporter and also used to write for The Daily Mirror. From the age of 8 years she had aspired to become an actress.

She continued with modelling along with her career and in 2006 she was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka Universe. Later, in 2007 she appeared for the very first time in a commercial music video of Sri Lanka and in 2009, she was seen in Bollywood fiction movie “Aladin” opposite Riteish Deskhmukh.

After that, she appeared in prominent sequels are as follow: “Murder 2”, “Housefull 2” and “Race 2”. In 2014, Fernandez portrayed the leading lady in Sajid Nadiadwala's “Kick”.
